Jewelry Care
All of our stainless steel jewellery is filled with stainless steel and plated with 14ct or 18ct gold.
By nature, stainless steel jewellery is waterproof (safe to wear during exercise and showering) will not tarnish (no green marks) and is hypoallergenic.
We choose to be completely open and honest about our products. Your jewellery can last you a lifetime when properly cared for, however, even the most expensive jewellery in the world will show signs of aging and fading if it has not been cared for properly. Dropping and knocking jewellery can cause precious stones or cubic zirconias to fall out. Be sure to take care of your items by treating them gently and storing them in their individual packaging.
It's best to keep your plated jewellery away from chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, sanitisers and hair products wherever possible.
If your plating fades or your jewellery gets dirty, simply wipe it down with a dry cloth. Do not use a harsh jewellery cleaner on your jewellery.
We cannot be held responsible for tarnishing caused by skin’s natural pH levels. We cannot issue refunds or exchanges for the colour of your jewellery changing, for precious stones falling out due to wear and tear as well as scratches caused by wear and tear.
Exchange policy
We take great pride in the quality of our products and excellent customer service. Each product is thoroughly inspected before being sent to you.
We will gladly exchange your item of jewellery within 7 days of receiving it if you are not entirely satisfied. Unfortunately due to the hygienic nature of earrings, no earrings can be exchanged or returned.
No cash refunds will be given for jewellery unless it is received damaged or broken. Items can be exchanged for an item of the same value or for store credit. The customer is liable for shipping fees both ways.
No cash refunds will be given for incorrectly sized rings. Please be sure to check our ring sizing guidelines before purchasing a ring. Should your ring not fit, it can be exchanged for the correct size. The customer is liable for shipping fees both ways.
Jewellery that is being exchanged should be returned within 7 days of receiving it, should be unworn and returned in the original packaging. The customer is liable for shipping fees both ways. Please note, we reserve the right to refuse an exchange should the item appear worn or used.
Cash refunds will only be issued for jewellery that is received damaged or broken, please email a photo of your damaged item to hello@luckycatjewelry.co.za within 48 hours of receiving it.
Unfortunately, shipping costs cannot be refunded as it is paid directly to our service providers.
